Boudoir is beautiful, but it can be more about the style of the picture than about the content. My focus is on YOU: character, motion, emotion, not "these ten poses that everyone does."
My goal is to take photos that are as unique as you are.
Located in the Northern Rockies, we work with clients in the Peace River Region—Grande Prairie, Fort St. John and Dawson Creek—as well as across BC and Alberta.
What does Beyond Boudoir mean?
"Beyond Boudoir" can mean getting out of the bedroom and into nature. Or telling a story in images. Or doing a couple's shoot. Or...? We delight in creating magical experiences for the people we photograph. It’s about going beyond preconceived notions, about breaking the rules and creating stunning images that are uniquely you.
Be Confident
You are amazing. Some people might feel anxious or nervous about posing for pictures, but not you. Because you're not trying to meet some pre-defined standard of beauty. You are your own beautiful. Own it. Live it. Celebrate it.
Be Silly.
Be Silly. There's nothing sexier than a smile, unless it's a laugh. It's okay to have fun, to be goofy, to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
Be Sexy.
What makes you feel sexy? Maybe it’s the way you walk in your favourite pair of heels, or the way that outfit makes your curves pop. Maybe it’s dancing with your girls until two in the morning at the club or the way your body looks in the mirror when doing yoga. Truth is, sexy isn’t (just) the way you look, it’s the way you feel. It’s the way you act. It’s a state of mind.
Be Kinky.
Want to break out the cuffs, or have a thing for rope? Want to do a steamy session with your significant other, or maybe just by yourself? Want to go beyond Beyond Boudoir? It's okay. We don't judge. If you like it, it's okay to celebrate it.

Photography is writing with lights, and how the image is lit can say a lot about you. We love playing with lights and colours to create images that stand out from the crowd.

Sometimes, when we look at ourselves in the mirror, we only see our flaws and failures. Sometimes, it takes seeing yourself through someone else's eyes to understand our strengths. Our beauty.

Be You.
One of the things that sets you apart from everyone else is your, well, your you-ness. There is no one else like you in all time and space. So don’t be afraid to bring along elements of what makes you special. Your favourite tee-shirt, or your romantic partner. Or, let’s shoot in a location of personal significance. Let’s make your session truly about you.
Be Together.
Some people shoot as a present for their significant other. Some people shoot with their significant other. There are no rules saying what you can and cannot do once you decide to go Beyond Boudoir. You can shoot just for fun with a friend, or you can get all hot and bothered with an EX-rated shoot.
