Beat the heat July 18

The forecast for Thursday is 34 degrees.

That’s 34 effing degrees celcius. That’s hot. Damn hot.

So we’re offering you the chance to beat the heat.

On Thursday, July 18, I'll be setting up my world famous portable outdoor rain chamber (trademark pending) down at Pipestone. Well, not in the park itself, but out on the beach on the river, which is outside the park. I'll be there from about ten in the morning to ... well, as long as I need to be.

This is just for fun, go play in the mud and the water, the river and the rain. This shoot is open to all and sundry, and there is no cost to participate. You just have to be willing to show up on Thursday.

But I’m working, you say? Well, far be it from me to suggest you skip out on work just to go play in the rain. I’m just saying that if you do, your secret is safe with me. Or better yet, bring the boss and the whole crew.

For me, the goal is to have fun, beat the heat, take some awesome pictures and maybe meet some new people who have been considering doing a shoot, but wanted a chance to meet first. There’s no specific concept. Wear a sweater. Wear your skin. Be as silly or as sexy as you like. Bring a friend, your SO, or book a block of time slots with a group of friends and just have fun.

As a thank you, I will be providing your favourite image from the session as a digital file for your social profile, or just to remember that time you did that thing just for fun.

Prints, albums and extra images can be purchased additionally.

If you are interested, or had any questions, send me an email and let’s pick a time. I’ll be booking half hour slots starting at 10:30.

I’ll be shooting on the beach out at Pipestone. To get there, pass through the campground, and out onto the beach, then turn left. I’ll be set up as far downstream as I can. See map, below.
