Valentine’s Day is coming up, and boudoir photographers across the country are falling all over themselves to offer Valentine’s Mini sessions. And you might ask me, as a boudoir-adjacent photographer if I am planning on doing mini sessions.

The answer is no.

The longer answer is why would I want to minimize you? To try and capture less of your beauty and personality? To try and shove you into 15 minutes? I don’t want to rush through a session, I want to revel in it. To draw out your personality and character. To spend time with you, and capture as much of your personality and emotion as possible.

So, let’s shoot a max session. Let’s take the time to explore different ideas and different poses and themes and outfits. Let’s drink deeply from the well. Let us—in the words of Danny Kaye—paint the canvas of life with as many colours as we can.
