The gift of you…

As you probably can guess, I’m a bit biased. As someone whose job it is to create special experiences for women, men, couples and everybody who wants to see themselves in a new light, getting a photography session is one of the best things you can do, for both you and your significant other. As I’ve said elsewhere, stuff? Is just stuff. It’s the experience that stuff can bring that makes it worthwhile. And there’s no greater gift you can give than the gift of you.

I’m going to look at this from a bunch of different angles. The first is one that you’ve heard me talk about before:

Going beyond boudoir can be empowering for you. No, it’s nothing magical that I’m doing. All I’m doing is revealing that which is in front of me. Looking at you from a different angle. Showing you how other people see you. And giving you the space and the freedom to recognize and reclaim the power that you already have. By doing a beyond boudoir shoot, you can give the gift of you to you. You can give yourself a look at the real you. What a way to end the year or move into the new one. So, take a chance to celebrate how incredible you really are, to feel confident and sexy and happy in your own skin.

Going beyond boudoir is an experience. Yes, you will be pampered throughout the day, but it’s more than just being treated like a queen. One of my greatest joys is taking boudoir out of the bedroom and to the top of a mountain. To the base of a waterfall. To a tropical island. You might not be the sort to want to hike to a mountain top, but for those who are, these sessions are so special. And if you’re not the sort to want to hike to the top of the mountain? One of the things we aim to do is to personalize each session and make it about you.

An album can make a great gift to that special someone. I know, I know, it can be difficult for some people to invest in themselves. But if you have a significant other, this can be a perfect gift for them, too. Treat yourself to the shoot, then treat them to the results of the shoot.

You can do it #2gether. If shooting the best qualities of one person can be magical, it is only magnified when there is more than one. Those positive, upbeat emotions I love to capture (confidence, pleasure, joy) are magnified when there are two (or more). And you add in those shared emotions like love and desire…couples shoots are amazing.
